1. Courier Pick-Up
The final step is to call City-Link Express to arrange for a pick-up.
For City-Link Express account holders, kindly call our Customer Service Personnel and indicate your account number. Then inform our personnel if the shipment is ready for collection and what time it can be collected. Also, indicate if you are sending a parcel or document so that we can arrange for the appropriate vehicle. If your shipment requires special handling, kindly inform our Customer Service Personnel.
For customers without a City-Link Express account and paying by cash, kindly provide exact change when our pick-up courier arrives to collect your shipment. Our couriers do not carry change with them and your assistance will avoid any inconveniences. An official receipt will be provided upon request.
Once your shipment is ready for pick-up, kindly call the telephone numbers below.
For Klang Valley customers, please call 1300-88-2489 or +603 – 5569 2199 to arrange for pick-up.
For customers outside of Klang Valley, kindly contact your nearest City-Link Express Service Centre.
2. Lodge-In
Should you find it more convenient to send your shipment to us, City-Link Express is located in accessible locations with convenient parking spots for your convenience.

Consignment Note and Supporting Document
1. How to fill in your Consignment Note
The consignment note is City-Link Express legal document, which contains all necessary information of the shipment for City-Link to perform a successful delivery. It tells us where the shipment is going, who is receiving it, and how to contact the recipient. It also tells us which type of service you are using, the description of the shipment and if special handling is required. The consignment number located below the barcode is used to track your shipment on our website. This is how a consignment note looks like:
When filling a City-Link consignment note, please write while pressing firmly against the consignment note, preferably with a ballpoint pen. To ensure the readability of the consignment notes, typewriters or dot matrix printers can be used.
a. Shipper/Sender Information
- How do we address you, the shipper; your company or home address. Finally your contact details.
- We prefer mobile phone numbers for easier accessibility to contact you.
b. Consignee/Recipient Information
- Fill in the consignee / recipient name, delivery address and contact information.
- Please provide the correct postal/zip codes to ensure the shipment is forwarded to the correct destination.
- Include the receiver’s contact details especially the mobile phone number so that we can contact that person, if needed, to ensure the shipment is delivered on time.
- Specify the name of the person who will be receiving the shipment in the “Attention” column.
- If the shipment is to be delivered to an office address, please indicate the Department where the receiver is working to ensure that the correct person receives the shipment.
c. Shipment Information
- If there are any special delivery instructions or special handling needs, please fill in the remarks section.
- Only if applicable – Commodity description: list all items in the packages
separately and in detail. Attachment of a commercial invoice will be useful for additional information that cannot fit onto the consignment note. - Only if applicable – Fill in the price or the market value of the items being shipped. The sum should tally with the commercial invoice.

light but oversized, use volumetric weight instead. - Fill in the total number of pieces shipped under this consignment note and the total weight. Specify the date the shipment was sent
d. Type of Shipment
- Indicate whether your shipment is a document or a parcel.
e. Account Number
- If you are a City-Link Express account holder, fill in the account number which has been assigned to you.
f. Signature
- Sign the consignment note and indicate the date.
- Remove the shipper’s copy of the consignment note for your archival purpose and leave the rest of the consignment note intact with the shipment.
2. Attach your completed Consignment Note to your shipment/s
Once you have completed all the details in your consignment note, kindly remove the self-adhesive seal from behind the consignment note and attach it to your shipment.
3. Attach any supporting documents (if applicable)
If you are sending parcels to any international destinations, please attach a copy of your Invoice together with the shipment. This will help ensure that there will not be any delays in forwarding your shipment.

Packaging & Supplies
At City-Link Express, we provide packing materials to all our customers to ensure that your shipment is well protected.
Please visit our SHOP WITH US, contact our Customer Service or visit your nearest City-Link Express branch to get your supplies. Charges may apply for special packaging.
Receiving Shipments
City-Link Express couriers will make deliveries based on the address given on the consignment note. Please provide the correct delivery address and advise your recipient to acknowledge receipt of the shipment.
If available, also provide the receiving person’s contact number. This will enable us to call the recipient directly and arrange for a re-delivery if no one is around to sign for the shipment.
Should you receive a shipment in less than perfect condition, you have the right not to acknowledge the shipment. On the back of the consignment, please provide your signature to indicate that our courier made the delivery attempt to your address.
Billing & Invoice
As a City-Link Express account holder, you will receive an invoice from us at month end, to show your monthly usage and outstanding balance.

Terms and Conditions
City-Link Express reserves the right to impose fuel and other surcharges on shipments without notice. The amount and duration of any such surcharges will be determined at our sole discretion. By tendering your shipments to City-Link Express, you agree to pay the surcharges, as determined by City-Link Express.
Service Alerts
Be updated on our latest service alerts that may affect the delivery time of your shipment. Should there be any unforeseen circumstances which might affect delivery of your shipment, we apologize for the delay and will try our best to ensure the delivery of your shipment as quickly as possible.
